When you put a British woman in charge of brunch, this, my friends, is what you get:
Marmite. Made from a by-product of the beer making process, it’s a salty, yeasty, spread commonly eaten on toast. It’s utterly delicious.
Many Brits are brought up on Marmite – to me, it tastes of home. Of cups of tea, autumn leaves, open fires. Happy times.
To some people, it tastes absolutely disgusting. But I don’t talk to them.
